Club Manager Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Club Manager to oversee the operations of our club.
As the Club Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the club, including customer service, sales, employee management, and budgeting.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
Essential Requirements: * Must possess at least 5 years equivalent experience in restaurant management.
Familiarity with Pennsylvania Social Club Gambling laws preferred.
* Must be able to effectively read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Must have ability to apply general accounting standards.
* Must be able to effectively use Microsoft products to include (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, and Access), QuickBooks, and general POS systems.
* RAMP and ServSafe Certified Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Serve as Club manager.
Manage all aspects of the club (Bar, Gambling, Dining Room, Banquet Hall, and Kitchen) including its activities and the relationships between the club and its Board of Directors, members, guests, employees, community, and industry.
* Coordinate and administer the club’s bylaws and policies as defined by its Board of Directors.
* Develop operating policies and procedures and direct the work of all department managers.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales and retention.
* Provide exceptional customer service to club members, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
* Manage and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
* Create and execute marketing initiatives to attract new members and promote club offerings.
* Implement and monitor the budget, monitor the quality of the club’s products and services, and ensure maximum member and guest satisfaction.
* Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, expectations, and provide ongoing training.
* Implement general policies established by the Board of Directors.
* Report member infractions to the Board for necessary action.
* Manage club cash flow and debt service and establishes controls to safeguard funds.
* Set the standard for effective management and demonstrate a concern for the supervision and development of the staff.
* Plan, develop and approve specific operational policies, procedures, methods, rules, and regulations in concert with general policies.
* Establish employee rules and regulations and work schedules.
* Manage basic personnel policy; initiate and monitor policies relating to personnel actions and training development programs.
* Monitor monthly budget and other financial statements.
* Prepares and makes financial reports to the board of directors.
* Secure and protect the club’s assets.
* Consistently ensure that the club is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.
* Establish and monitors compliance with purchasing policies and procedures; reviews and approves purchasing procedures and requirements.
* Promote, advertise, and market banquet facility events.
* Manage banquet events, including the planning, preparation, and execution of banquets both internally, and with client.
* Review and initiate programs to provide members with a variety of popular events.
* Work with subordinate department heads to schedule, supervise and direct the work of all club employees; confer with them about personnel-related matters including compensation, job changes and performance evaluation.
* Convene and preside over meetings with department managers and conducts regular staff meetings.
* Attends meetings of the Board of Directors.
* Review club operations for quality assurance and develop plans for corrective action when necessary.
* Represent the Club and facility in public meetings and advocacy opportunities.
* Work beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the needs of the facility.
* Other reasonable duties as assigned by Board of Directors.
