*RETAIL SALES/MANAGER*
*DESCRIPTION*
Store manager has a variety of tasks and careful attention to details is required.
Directly supervises sales workers in a retail establishment or department.
Duties may include management functions, such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting and personnel work.
*DUTIES*
* Provides customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints
* Monitors sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
* Inventories stock and reorders when inventory drops to a specified level.
* Enforces safety, health and security ricks
* Examines merchandise to ensure that it is correctly marked, priced and displayed as advertised
* Plans budgets and authorizes payment and merchandise returns
* Run the day to day operations of the retail store
*REQUIREMENTS*
* Needs knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service ad evaluation of customer satisfaction.
* Needs knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services.
This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Needs knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
* Knowledge of arithmetic and statistics and their applications.
* Knowledge of structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
The Retail Sales/Manager performs for or works directly with the public.
Is responsible for getting information.
This is normally done by observing, receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Organizes plans and prioritizes the work duties.
They must be able to communicate with supervisors and peers.
They are responsible for providing information to supervisors or co-workers by telephone, written form, email or in person.
Resolves conflicts and negotiates with others.
Responsible for handling complaints, resolving disputes and resolving grievances and conflicts or otherwise negotiate with others.
The Manager establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships.
Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
Runs the store and ensures its open on time, coverage is available all hours its open, and makes suggestions and executes on them to improve sales in the store.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.
00 - $40,000.

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)

* Supervising Experience: 1 year (Required)
