Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager.
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our business.
This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, sales management abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide guidance and support to sales associates
- Train new employees and conduct employee orientation sessions
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is replenished as needed
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining visual standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and managing inventory
- Knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling and payroll
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving goals
- Sales Management: Experience in managing sales activities and driving revenue growth
- Employee Orientation: Ability to train new employees and ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills
- Math: Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions, calculating discounts, etc.
- Retail Management: Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, inventory management, etc.
- Stock: Experience in managing stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and replenishing stock as needed
- Sales: Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell products and maximize sales opportunities
- Administrative: Proficient in performing administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, reporting, etc.
- Retail Sales Clerk: Experience in providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their needs
