SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking a driven and disciplined Project Manager for our growing Highway & Bridge team.
Based in Kinsley’s York office, the PM will primarily work on projects in the greater South Central PA market.
The PM is mainly responsible for all aspects of the project in the construction phase from preconstruction planning through completion of the project closeout under the direction and oversite of the Division Vice President.
Duties include technical documentation, jobsite communications with the Project Superintendent, and subcontractors, scheduling, and cost analysis.
A successful candidate preferably will possess an Engineering or Construction Management degree or background along with applicable field experience, strong computer skills, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Read and interpret complex construction documents and drawings
Review and process properly transmitted contract documents
Assist in the preparation and issuance of subcontracts and purchase orders
Organize and maintain contract documents and shop drawings
Assist with the preparation of all change order requests for the client’s approval; coordinate the estimating of all change orders with the project estimator or subcontractor; assist with the documentation of all field directives from the owner or architect that change the scope or original design of the contract documents
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the project schedule
Job Cost Analysis and Reporting
Setup and maintain job files
Update the project schedule as directed
Maintain the field office in a neat and orderly fashion
Assist in the preparation of the project close-out manuals
Assist in developing a project punch list as well as assuring that all items on the list are complete in timely manner
Assist with Quality Control including preparatory meetings and final inspections
Originate and/or review, submit, log and distribute RFI’s and the RFI responses
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Prior PM experience preferred
Prior field construction experience preferred
2-4 Year post-secondary degree preferred
