About the Position Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking a Group Products Manager.
In this role our associate will be responsible for all aspects of rating, underwriting, proposal issuance and development, administration and product design of current and future benefit programs.
They will manage, coordinate, and establish priorities and monitor work flow for Specialty Benefits Department.
Assists prospects, agents, sales executives and clients with sales process and technical aspects of product portfolio.
May be called upon to assist in sales or renewal presentations.
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
3-5 years related experience in the benefits and/or insurance field.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to motivate, communicate and influence a wide variety of personalities Understanding of interrelationship between computer systems and procedures for validating data Ability and willingness to comprehend and manage complex procedures, processes, and work flow requirements Experience in quality control Verbal and grammatical ability required to ensure proper communication with clients, agents, prospects and internal associates.
Ability to develop and review, and interpret various insurance policies Analytical ability required to exercise underwriting authority under procedures established by Insurance Carriers.
