Position Summary
Red Lion Controls has an opportunity for a Repair and Calibration Supervisor.
A successful candidate will lead the team in Repair to attain various standard KPIs, while helping to further enhance a positive culture.
Red Lion as an organization has embraced Lean as an operating philosophy and thus will look to the new Repair and Calibration Manager to explore and implement opportunities to improve efficiency in how the department manages its activities.
Key Job Functions
Leads team to facilitate internal and external product repairs and calibrations.
Provides feedback to stakeholders around repair and quality issues.
Creates and presents reports relevant to departmental performance.
Facilitates and or schedules equipment calibration.
Responsible for assisting and or developing corrective actions for problematic SKUs.
Provide guidance on priorities and ensure that the team is focused on achieving strategic targets as set by management.
Assist and at times drive continuous improvement projects for the repair team.
Ensures team adherence to ECOs and specific customer policies/requests.
Communicates internally and externally to resolve customer issues.
Work cross-functionally with customer service, sales, operations, and tech support as needed.
Interprets drawings/schematics/test procedures/and bills of material as necessary.
Has the ability to solder to industry standards.
Maintains historical knowledge for service of legacy product lines throughout warranty period.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
2+ years of progressive operations experience, preferably in an electronic repair capacity
Experience with electronic test equipment preferred.
Experience with an ERP system (IFS would be ideal, but not required)
Strong written and oral communications skills, including Microsoft Office
Organizational skills with ability to set priorities.
