Nuclear Medicine Team Leader - Day/Evening/Night

Summary Full Time Day/Evening/Night Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm w/ on-call requirements Job Description: Under general supervision of the Manager-Imaging Operations, supervises personnel and assists in managing the Imaging Department daily operations.
Provides imaging services.
Performs duties as on call team leader and is able to train new staff.
Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluates, for effectiveness, all services rendered and makes recommendations regarding addition and deletion of service.
Develops and oversees departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals and objectives.
Maintains drug control for department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.
Provides in service education for technologist and participates in instruction Qualifications: Minimum Experience: 5 - 8 years PET experience preferred Minimum Education: Associate's Degree Required Certification: Nuclear Medicine Registry Required Courses: Accredited program in Nuclear Medicine technology; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Physical Demands: Frequent prolonged standing/walking Occasionally lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients Occasionally lifts supplies/equipment Skills: Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; computer skills
