Summary
WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a Physician Leader for our Digestive Health Division.
Minimum education required: MD or DO plus completion of a residency training program in Internal Medicine and completion of a fellowship training program in Gastroenterology.
He or she must also be Board Certified/Board Eligible.
Position Highlights:
Lead 30+ physicians and 20+ advanced practice providers
Promote teamwork and actively participate in the growth of GI services
Provide strategic and operational oversight
Ensure patient satisfaction in all areas of patient care delivery
Offer guidance in the development of treatment protocols
Deliver direct patient care as a member of WellSpan’s GI team
Participate in performance improvement initiatives
Work cooperatively/supportively with WMG, the Medicine Service Line and WellSpan entity leadership teams
Attend administrative staff meetings
