To learn more about our company and the other supply chain companies of Ahold Delhaize USA Position Summary Senior Technical expert responsible for effectively owning and overseeing Distribution Systems by managing, maintaining, and supporting various business systems/applications products across the organization, resolving technical problems, handle Distribution Team end-user requests.
Responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of defined applications in support of Distribution Systems across all networks.
Leads support of all systems products and responsible for leveraging assets, measuring performance, guidance and governance, and balance resources and subject matter experts where needed.
Manage proactive issues and risk identification and resolution, the development and implementation of strategies for optimal site performance.
Work with D&T Leadership to develop the vision, strategy, and value proposition for current and future systems and support needs.
Responsible for direction, development, implementation, and maintenance of all Distribution Systems.
Leads collaboration with IT, IT Vendor Partners, as well as Regional and Campus leaders in Supply Chain Operations to identify, maintain, test, and implement systems for future development.
Act as “owner” of the system with an intricate understanding of how the system operates.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and support various business systems/applications and networks across the organization, resolve technical problems, handle Distribution Team end-user requests.
Leads responsibility for leveraging assets, measuring performance, guidance and governance, and balance resources and subject matter experts where needed.
Work with D&T Leadership to develop the vision, strategy, value proposition, and own and maintain roadmap for site adoption, deployment, and strategy which may include, but are not limited to: Legacy WM/LM, Vo-Collect, Slotting, Kronos, Labor Management, Associate DB, Manhattan WMS, Audit & Compliance.
Lead the instigating and coordinating of IT systems development and administration while supporting end-users and the organization by resolving IT issues as part of the wider IT support team.
Manages system performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), detect and suggest problem resolution as quickly and accurately as possible, as well as manage and drive high performance, objectives achievement and service quality through well-defined service metrics.
Manage relationships with software providers to ensure optimal service.
Liaising with internal departments to determine their IT needs and working with them to implement new technology successfully.
Research and recommend future technology to enhance business operations and remain up to date on the latest software developments to determine how they can positively impact the business.
Prepares, reviews, and presents staff reports and various management and information updates.
Provides appropriate systems notifications/change communications and information with all areas of organization.
Leads and coordinates projects relating to the IT architecture within business systems team.
Provide leadership that will motivate associates and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.
Knowledge Detailed understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations Advanced understanding of large-scale grocery distribution industry best practices and metrics Advanced knowledge of current ADUSA systems and Manhattan Warehouse Management System(s) Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain systems industries and major vendors in various operational areas A deep understanding of the technical aspects of the systems and processes Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
