*Job Responsibilities*
Responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations including but not limited to, recipe adherence, quality control, profitability, kitchen personnel management and scheduling, kitchen area cleanliness and maintenance, product control and security, and inventory management in the individual location.
In addition, coordinates with the General Manager, Beverage Manager, Event Sales Manager, and Assistant Kitchen Manager, to ensure flawless execution of banquet food items for group events and parties.
*Essential Functions*
* Ensure all operating and quality standards are met.
* Food quality and recipe adherence.
* Create strong relationships with all food and non-alcoholic beverage vendors.
* Coordinate and execute food menus for all parties and banquets.
* Kitchen Team Member recruiting, development, and training.
* Kitchen Team Member scheduling and labor management.
* All aspects of the unit’s ordering, receiving, inventory, and cost control systems.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of county and state health code regulations.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Required Education and Experience*
* High School Diploma: Required.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Hospitality, or related fields is preferred
* Minimum of three years Kitchen Management experience with a high.
variety menu in a full service, casual dining, high volume environment.
* Strong coaching, training, and motivation skills.
* Additional five years kitchen experience in various positions leading up to the Lead Chef/Kitchen Manager role.
* Regional or national brand experience preferred.
* Demonstrated success in managing a disciplined kitchen.
* Adept computer skills in a Windows environment with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

* Must have or be able to obtain TIPS certification within seven days of employment and ServSafe Manager certification within one month.

* Create and utilize reports to assist in monitoring metrics.
* Oversee daily production.
* Enforce quality control standards and recipe adherence.
* Manage cost control systems.
* Kitchen Team Member hiring, training, and development.
* Operational and P&L problem resolution and implementation of solutions.
* Administration duties including Kitchen Team Member scheduling, ordering, receiving, and Team Member reviews.
