Inclusive childcare provider looking for Lead Teacher/Group Supervisor to work in small, multi-age childcare center.
A Team Leader is responsible for planning and implementing daily program activities, coordinating activities of assistant group supervisors and aides, assisting the designation activities.
Job Qualifications:
-A group supervisor must have one of the following qualifications:
1.
bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
2.
An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education or the human services field and 1 year experience with children.
3.
An associates degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education or the human services field and 2 years experience with children.
4.
An associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years experience with children.
Clearances/Other requirements:
· Physical and TB test
· Two written, non-family references
· Criminal background check
· Child abuse clearance
· FBI fingerprint clearance
· State police background check
· NSOR clearance
· Verification of education, child care experience, and training
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Maintain the health and safety of each child
· Review and implement developmentally appropriate material with students, either individually or in small groups, to help reinforce lessons presented by lead teachers
* Supervise children in childcare environment and during playtime/gross motor activities.
* Provide a positive, loving, and nurturing environment for children of all abilities
* Assist with record keeping, such as attendance records, student progress notes and daily sheets.
* Prepare for lessons by assembling materials and equipment
* Provide personal aid and care as necessary to children, such as help with hygiene, eating or toileting, etc.
· Participate in general staff meetings, training programs and in-service sessions as required.
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with students and staff.
* Demonstrate cooperation, openness for growth and willingness to contribute to a team approach to the educational program.
* Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA law
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.
00 per hour
