Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including customer service, food preparation, and staff management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Manage and train restaurant staff, including conducting interviews, hiring, and providing ongoing training and development
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, reconciling cash drawers, and making bank deposits
- Maintain a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations, including food preparation, safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising employees
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and ability to accurately manage financial transactions
- Experience working with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
